I can only add that you should be thorough and do a good job -- it is a lot of work to take all the stuff apart to fix a hose that you did not install carefully. Unlike some other recommendations you might hear, I suggest that you use factory diagrams from the Mazda dealer (have them print out the vacuum hose parts pages from the microfiche) and the factory manuals to reassemble everything. I have heard other people suggest that you should label everything and reassemble it the same way it was. Sometimes the hoses are not correctly plumbed when you start the job due to some previous service. If you use the diagrams to put it back together you can be sure that it is correct. |
